Use leftover rice and make delicious spicy rice balls with zero oil and only one major ingredient, which is rice. Now do not throw your leftover rice and take a break from making fried rice or jeera rice again and again, instead make tasty rice balls with simple steps and very few ingredients.

Here oil is used only while preparing the tadka. If you prefer zero oil recipe you can eat the rice balls with Chinese tadka as well where we do not require even a drop of oil.

• Leftover rice- 1 big cup
• Rice flour- 10 big tbsps
• Salt to taste
You can relish the spicy rice balls in 2 different ways-
1. Spicy Oil tadka
2. Chinese tadka
Ingredients for spicy oil tadka:
• Oil- 1 tbsp
• Cumin
• Asafetida
• Mustard seeds
• Curry leaves
• Green chilli
Ingredients for Chinese tadka:
• Vinegar
• Soya sauce
• Tomato ketchup
